Visit beautiful National Park of Island Mljet with two salt water lakes "Malo and Veliko jezero" and the birthplace of Marco Polo Korčula.

Among the luxurious vegetation of the park dominated by the “Aleppo Pine”, shrubs and jasmine are especially pleasurable.

Surrounded by the green line of the vegetation, the “Malo and Veliko jezero” (the big and the small lake) are connected with one another and the sea by an almost invisible strait.

Paths around the lakes invite you to take a walk but you can also ride a bike to start a great discovery of the rich flora and fauna as well as of the cultural heritage.

Korcula is considered to be the birthplace of Marco Polo and the legend says, it was founded by a Trojan Antenor.

The city, that bears the same name as the island, is very particular because it is surrounded by a wall of the fortification, which has completely been preserved until present days, assuring the defence of the city over the centuries.

It is a place that belongs to some other ages that one can discover by walking around its small streets.

It is also possible to visit the nearby islands and spend an unforgettable day there.
